1.   Each guest receives a personalized smartcard and inserts it into their

3.   The keypad automatically tells the guest the current highest bid and 
      whether it is held by them or not 
4.   The guest enters the amount they would like to bid on the item
5.   Guests can continue to monitor the highest bids on their favorite items
      by re-entering the item numbers into the keypad
