How long does it take to set-up the IML system?

IML's software is set-up and ready to be used as soon as you switch on your computer.

To accelerate set-up, the keypads can be tested from their carry cases and participants can help themselves to a keypad when they arrive at your event.

Alternatively, IML can place keypads on participants’ seats before the beginning of the event.

How long does it take to process votes?

Unlike other interactive keypad systems, IML systems are not polled systems. Audience votes are registered instantly and results appear live, on-screen immediately after a vote has been closed.

IML’s system is proven to deliver instant results, regardless of how large your audience is, negating uncomfortable pauses associated with other systems.

How can I get the best value from keypads?

Our consultative sales team will demonstrate the system for free and take the time to understand your meeting objectives and requirements.

All of our Account Managers have extensive experience in the events industry and will demonstrate how the system can be used to ensure that you use the system to make the most of your event.

On-site, our Interactive Producers will be on-hand to provide help and support your event.

How many keypads can I have?

There are no limitations on the amount of keypads that can be rented or purchased. Whether you need 5 or 5000 keypads, you can be assured that IML will provide a service to suit your needs.

Can I ask more than multiple choice questions?

IML’s system offers a wealth of question options and we would encourage you to use a range of question options to ensure that you harness the maximum benefits from our interactive system.

Can you incorporate our PowerPoint® template into the question slides?

IML’s Question Wizard software runs in PowerPoint®. This allows interactive questions to be programmed into any PowerPoint® template, ensuring that you achieve consistent branding at your event.

In what format and how quickly will I get my results?

Your IML Interactive Producer can provide you with the results in a PowerPoint® format on-site or they can be emailed to you post-event.   We can also provide the reports and data in an Excel® format if you would like to do further data analysis.

IML securely store all data from every event should you need to consult the data again at any time in the future.

What happens if attendees leave the room with the keypads?

IML keypads feature a built-in alarm.  At the end of an event we can activate the alarm to sound as soon as keypads leave range of the base station. There is no way for the attendees to turn this alarm off.

How long in advance and in what format do we need to provide the questions?

We ask for questions to be sent in any electronic format, (Word®, PowerPoint® etc) along with your PowerPoint® template, ideally two working days before the event. Your IML Interactive Producer will program your questions for you and can email them back to you in a PowerPoint® format for you to review and sign-off.

Can we make changes/add questions on-site?

We recognize that changes are often made to presentations on-site and we offer you the flexibility to change your questions too. You may even wish to ask additional questions, which we can add.

How does the IML system integrate with standard audio visual equipment?

Prior to your event, your IML Interactive Producer will liaise with your AV suppliers to ensure that the systems are integrated with no problems on-site.
