MINNEAPOLIS (PRWEB) March 21, 2012
IML is pleased to announce the first six partners to join its
recently launched Channel Partner Program. Alpha Video & Audio,

Management and Professional Video Supply now have the unique
opportunity to distribute IML products, including the IML
Connector, an award-winning wireless conference microphone system
with 2-way audio capabilities that also includes voting, texting,
languages and more. According to the audio-visual integrators who
have seen it, the IML Connector fills a unique need for clients
that no other solution is able to offer.
Quote: “We are very impressed with how IML’s unique
technology enhances our current solution mix. The capability of
tying basic polling with voice and text response in this seamless
way will really impact our clients’ success in providing
interactive meetings. The intuitive controls that mimic existing
consumer technologies make this solution extremely easy to
implement with a completely new audience. The potential ROI is
immediately recognizable for most clients.” Kevin Groves, Managing
Principal, Alpha Video & Audio.
Those who commit to IML’s Channel Partner
Program receive exclusive rights to sell the IML Connector, the
culmination of 20 years of providing interactive hardware and
software globally to the meetings, training and events industry. It
is the first product of its kind, offering in a single wireless
device, a conference microphone system, polling, text messaging,
smartcard identification, distributed PA and multiple audio
channels. Together with an innovative and easy to use suite of
applications, the IML Connector will make meetings of all sizes,
lectures and seminars, in either fixed environments or in temporary
set ups, more efficient and effective by creating dynamic
participatory environments.
Technical specifications of the IML Connector
include: a hyper-cardioid microphone, multi-channel audio for
simultaneous interpretation and assisted listening, an integrated
loudspeaker for distributed PA, QWERTY keyboard for faster texting,
a roller ball allowing users to switch between texting, speaking
and voting. The IML Connector has been developed on a new
technology platform, allowing for future application development,
high scalability and security. The Microsoft .NET Micro-framework
OS has been ported to new hardware allowing high level application
development and internationalization. A new radio protocol has been
developed to enable multi-channel, high quality audio and high
speed interaction. An intelligent 50 keypad charging rack allows
two way data communications for application, content uploads and
maintenance. A custom rota-moulded carrying case provides ultimate
freighting protection.
IML welcomes these first six Audio-Visual
Integrators as genuine partners, and looks forward to building many
mutually beneficial relationships.
