The Client:
Hunter College Elementary School
The Challenge:
To
generate more excitement and buzz over Hunter College’s
21st annual fundraising auction.
Since the auction is held annually, the
co-chairs of the event wanted to find a way to add another point of
interest to the auction, while also making it easier for guests to
bid and achieving greater fundraising results.
The Solution:
In
order to accomplish all of their goals, Hunter College enlisted
IML’s electronic silent auction bidding devices. The electronic
devices allowed guests to bid on auction items from anywhere and at
any time during the event. IML’s bidding devices definitely had
people talking. The co-chairs of the event received great feedback
from guests, who said that the devices were fun and enjoyable to
use.
In addition, Hunter College raised a similar
dollar amount through their silent auction as past years, but with
fewer items –proving that electronic bidding helps drives more bids
and greater values on items than paper bidding.
